MyDiet™ User's Guide


Welcome to MyDiet™!

This guide will help you make the most of MyDiet's services.


1. How do I navigate the MyDiet™ site?

On MyDiet's Home Page, you will find several ways to access our services and any information you need.

For example, the various boxes and buttons located throughout the page will take you to other areas of the site.

Or, you may click on any of the links located in the left-hand margin.

Simply click on the item that interests you to go straight to that section!

If you are a MyDiet™ member, you can access your personal profile and additional services for members only. To do so, please click the "Member Login" button.You will be directed to a new page to enter your email address and password, then click the "Go to My Daily Plan" button to access to your personalized plan.

 


2. To navigate within My Daily Plan


In your daily plan, a long list of options will be displayed along the margin for you to choose from.

On the main page of your daily plan, your options include:
  • A daily menu broken down by food items and meal portions,
  • Your exercise plan,
  • Your weight goal and weight evolution and,
  • Other relevant information.
Under Menu of the Day, you may view options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. If you would like the recipe for any meal, click on the meal name.

If you're not satisfied with the meal options offered, you may make substitutions. To do this, click Change. You will go to a page listing the four meals of the day, and the one you want to change will be highlighted. Click on the arrow to the right to view all possible substitutions. Choose your favorite and click Continue.



To print your selected menu, click the Print button at the top of the page that reads "Menu of the Day".

To add to any of your meals, click on Free Foods and select one of the options.

 


3. To access your Weekly Plan

To view your plan for the week, click the Weekly Plan option at the bottom of Today's Menu or on the list on the left margin.

Here you'll find your menus for the entire week. You may modify these menus according to your individual tastes.

To view the ingredients and preparation instructions, click on the name of the meal that interests you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To modify your Weekly Plan, click on Change under the food item that you'd like to replace and choose another option of comparable nutritional value.

 

If you like a meal and would like to keep it to use on the same day next week, select the Keep box. Then click on the Save button located on the lower left, so when you change the menu plan it will remain there.

If you would prefer a different Weekly Plan, click on Another Plan. Note: If you have saved any of the meals using the Save option, these will remain unchanged.

To print a copy of your Weekly Plan, click the Print button below on the right.

 


4. To view the Shopping List

Click on the Shopping List option, in the left-hand margin, to view the food items and amounts you'll need to stick to your Weekly Plan. If you are cooking for other members of your family or friends, just calculate the amount of food they would eat and add it to your list, since the shopping list will only give you the amounts of food you need according to your meal plan.

 

To print your shopping list, select the PRINT option located above the list.

 

 

 


5. To evaluate your progress with MyDiet™

Keeping track of your progress is a fundamental part of your program, so you must weigh yourself once a week and write it down. Simply click on the Progress option in the left-hand margin and follow the instructions. You should also evaluate every week how you’re doing with your Exercise Plan. In this section you can also change your weight goal or your Exercise Plan according to your preferences and results.

 

 


6. To review or update your Evaluation

Click on the Evaluation option in the left-hand margin to view the results of your personal diet evaluation. As the effects of your plan begin to show, you may want to update your evaluation to reflect your current weight. You can do this at any time you desire.

 

 


7. To access My Information

Click on My Information to make changes to your name, password or email address. You will need to confirm these changes by entering your current email address and password. Then click Continue to save the changes.


 


8. To find responses to Frequently Asked Questions

Click on Frequently asked questions to find answers to questions commonly asked about the MyDiet™ program, like what is MyDiet™?, how does MyDiet™ work? or what is the difference between MyDiet™ and other traditional diets?

 

 


9. To access MyDiet's Health Resources

Click on the Health Resources option in the left-hand margin for information that will help with your diet, fitness and healthy living. Topics include articles, tips, calculators, NutriNews and recipes.

You will also find calculators to help you measure your Body Mass Index (BMI), Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), and the heart rate you should achieve and maintain to maximize the benefits of your aerobic workout.

 

 

 


10. To learn more About MyDiet™

Click on About MyDiet™ option in the left-hand margin to learn more about our program. Here you can find information about the program like what is MyDiet™?, how does it work? and who are we?

 

 


11. To contact us

To send us an email, simply click on the Contact Us option in the left-hand side of the screen.
